Overview
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience covering their sector, which will include relevant company contacts, buy side contacts, and in-depth research perspectives on companies and industries.
At Hedgeye, the Sector Head will have responsibility and autonomy for building out research coverage for their sector. - The Sector Heads - report to the Director of Research, but Hedgeye's business model and success is a function of our - entrepreneurial culture and speed to market, so the Sector Head needs to be comfortable working independently and in a high paced, team oriented environment.

• Lead, build, direct research coverage for a designated sector
  
  
  • 
    
  • Cover - the sector by producing valuable content through relevant company contacts, buy-side contacts and in-depth research perspectives on companies and industries
    
    
    • 
      
    • Produce profitable revenue and manage expenses as a successful business unit
      
      
      • 
        
      • Expected to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills
        
        
        • 
          
        • Work effectively across multiple business lines within our entrepreneurial culture
          
          
          • 
            
          • Achieve results in a high-paced, team-oriented environment
            
            
            • 
              
            • Provides content for all of Hedgeye's digital media offerings, including Web, Mobile, Video and Audio
              
              SKILLS REQUIRED
              
              • 
                
              • Strong quantitative skills with a focus on financial modeling
                
                
                • 
                  
                • The aptitude to quickly develop client relationships. -
                  
                  
                  • 
                    
                  • Acquire and retain a profitable client base
                    
                    
                    • 
                      
                    • Excellent analytical and writing capability
                      
                      EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
                      
                      • 
                        
                      • BA/BS with strong academic performance
                        
                        
                        • 
                          
                        • Significant equity research experience (buy side or sell side)
                          
                          
                          • 
                            
                          • 7 - 10 years of experience
                            
                            
                            • 
                              
                            • Series 65 license will be required -
