Qualifications

Must possess a current NYS RN License and registration

Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS/BSW) from a four-year college or university with a major in nursing with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience

minimum of four (4) years' experience and/or training in assessing, and providing health care related services to the geriatric population in a health care, home care or residential facility and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

MS Office Required

Job description


The Director of Nursing role is responsible for the direction and coordination of the healthcare and wellness program as well as the personal care services for our residents. - This role will work closely with the multidisciplinary team members to ensure consistent, timely, and appropriate levels of services are provided to our residents. The Director of Nursing will conduct assessments, and participate in service planning meetings. Must possess a current NYS RN License and registration.
