The Director, Internal Communications, Research & Advisory
(R&A) will support the mission critical priorities of R&A
through strategic communications targeting the Business Unit's
(BUs) internal stakeholders.
What You'll Need
- 7-10 years internal communications experience in a corporate
environment
- Undergraduate / Master's degree in communications is a
plus.
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience writing and publishing content via a variety of
internal communications channels
- Strong ability to listen, absorb and process new information
across a wide range of complex topics, programs, products, and
services and distill it into concise narratives that align to an
overarching messaging framework
- Strong ability to build and grow trusted relationships with
executives
- Ability to manage and be discreet with sensitive / confidential

- Reporting to VP, Communications, R&A, partner with R&A
Communications team to develop and execute a communications
strategy that supports R&A's business priorities
- Collaborate with Gartner Internal Communications team as well
as Internal Communications partners across multiple Gartner BUs to
drive alignment of communications activities through the
organization
- Counsel R&A Practice Leaders in tailoring, contextualizing
and cascading Gartner- and BU-level news and information to their
teams
- Counsel R&A Practice Leaders on change communications for
changes that impact their teams
- Counsel the head of R&A Operations on communications to his
team and on operational developments that impact the broader
R&A organization
- Serve as Editorial Director for and oversee production of
R&A Weekly Newsletter
- Produce Town Halls, videos, presentations, intranet posts and
other events and content
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across everything
