Sr. Director, Corporate Communications, Conferences About this role: The Sr. Director, Corporate Communications, Conferences will support the EVP, Conferences and senior leadership team in the creation and implementation of internal communications that support the long-term growth of our business. The role will lead a small, dedicated team of communications professionals to develop and drive change management, associate engagement and executive communications programs in Conferences. Reporting to the GVP, Corporate Communications, the role will work closely with other senior communication partners to ensure close alignment and consistency in Conferences communications to internal and external audiences. What you'll do:

  • Provide strategic support to the EVP, Conferences to develop and execute an internal communications strategy that supports key business unit objectives, includes, but is not limited to: town hall meetings, intranet strategy for Conferences, leadership team meetings, executive scripts, newsletters, roundtables, talking points, videos, internal presentations, announcements, etc.
  • Drive consistency of communications within Conferences across leadership team
  • Develop outcome-orientated communications programs that support change management initiatives
  • Effectively lead a small team of communications professionals focused on achieving key business unit goals
  • Develop a dashboard to measure the effectiveness of communications in support of key business unit initiatives and drive continuous improvement
  • Partner with senior communication partners supporting other business units to ensure consistency and alignment of key messages across the business What you'll need:
    • 8+ years internal / executive communications experience in a corporate environment
    • Ability to develop and lead the implementation of a strategic internal communications plan to inform, engage and inspire associates and drive change management initiatives within Conferences and throughout the enterprise
    • Ability to listen, absorb and process complex information from across a wide range of sources, programs and initiatives into clear, compelling, action-orientated communications in a broad range of media and formats
    • Experience building and developing trusted relationships at the executive level to create / support a wide range of communications such as town hall meetings, leadership meetings, presentations for corporate events, newsletters, intranet communications, Q&As, etc.
    • Exceptionally strong writing and editing skills
    • Creative thinker with a track record of execution
      • Outstanding interpersonal & influencing skills; integrity, credibility, and confidence
