Director, Credit Decisioning Platform

The Director of Credit Decision Systems Engineering leads and
oversees a team of Managers, Engineers, and Data Analysts that are
responsible to manage end-to-end credit decisioning and execution
platforms (Pega, Latitude), with the responsibility of developing,
testing, and deploying various projects in the environment.
Participates in full life-cycle of systems engineering and change
management activities to ensure high- quality, scalable solutions.
Organizes and directs systems engineering functions and is
accountable for managing and coordinating resources and processes
to implement products for a variety of technology initiatives,
including software infrastructure, operations and maintenance,
capacity planning, problem resolution, 24/7 availability and
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and
enhance the customer experience.
Ensures that systems are correctly designed, procured, inventoried,
configured, and installed per company standards and guidelines.
Provides strategic guidance and technical assistance to corporate
and field management on application and system infrastructure
implementation and standardization.
Directs staff to ensure efficient implementation and activation of
new product and service infrastructure by Operations personnel.
Coordinates operations activities with IT, BI, Charter Business,
Network Operations, Customer Operations, Field Operations, and
Assists with setting and overseeing the implementation of
operational standards, policies and/or master plans for service
implementation operations according to organizational and corporate
Leads the implementation of existing and new technologies as
developed by Engineering and Information Technology to improve
efficiency of delivery and time to market for new products and

Continually evaluates operational strategies, identifies and

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e.
word processing, spreadsheet, database, DOS, Windows, network
Knowledge of cable television products and services
Knowledge of cable system provisioning and primary application
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to negotiate with vendors
Ability to supervise and motivate others
BS in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Engineering/IT/Operations - 7-10
Leadership - 4-7
Project management - 3-5
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Experience in working with the Pega system is highly preferred
Master's degree in a related field preferred
