Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose:Synchrony is continuing to
build a world class Performance Marketing Organization committed to
driving results with our retail and payments partners while also
delivering leading customer experiences. Within this agency, our
Measurement Team is focused on providing analytics and insights to
support data-driven decision making across all channels and
customer touchpoints. The AVP, Audience Management Platforms will
manage the audience performance measurement processes for all
business across the enterprise.Developing and enhancing audiences
targeting processes for personalized, omni-channel communication
strategies.This position is remote, where you have the option to
work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to
our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team
meetings, training and culture events. To ensure the safety of our

and flexibility.Essential Responsibilities
- Experience with hands-on implementation & use of emerging
customer-centric technologies and capabilities including identity
management, data onboarding, Personalization, 1st party / 2nd party
/ 3rd party data systems (e.g., CDP, DMP, Google Marketing
Platfrom, data exchanges)
- Manage processes to identifying key behaviors, attributes, and
segmentation methodologies using various data sources and tools to
produce profiles and dashboards
- Generate audience analysis to make data-driven recommendations
to optimize strategies across channels acting as a consultant with
business stakeholders to help them understand what profiles,
metrics and analysis will offer them
- Provide thought leadership in evaluating audience profiles,
trends, and optimization opportunities to drive growth and minimize
risk
- Serve as Marketing's foremost expert on execution and data
processes associated with audience creation and data
onboarding
- Manage and explore innovations to introduce new audience
building strategies, tools, capabilities enhancements, solve data
gaps, and process inconsistencies
- Manage and develop partnership with cross functional teams,
establishing a strong communicative and collaborative atmosphere,
to understand their business needs and goals
- Help govern audience creation across multiple digital marketing
platforms, ensuing the proper settings and segmentation are in
place, the use of automation, and the timely delivery to various
publishers/destinations
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as
assignedQualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or, in lieu of degree, a high school
diploma/GED and 6 years of database marketing, marketing analytics
or digital-audience experience
- 5+ years of digital experience, to include (can be concurrent):
- 4+ experience working directly within large-scale Digital
Platforms, including but not limited to digital and onboarding
platforms (ex. Google Marketing Cloud, LiveRamp, Dynamic Yield,
Salesforce, etc)
- 3+ years experience in direct digital audience creation,
selection and segmentation
- 3+ years experience with the digital marketing landscape
including display, mobile, video and email
- Mentoring/training of junior teammates
- 2+ year experience as a Business Analyst ('BA') or similar
role; analyzing information, evaluating opportunities/solutions and
communicating across organizations.Desired Characteristics:
- Deep understanding and subject matter expertise of Digital
Marketing Platforms, taxonomy, personalization and omni-channel
strategies
- Extensive experience with database management and segmentation
tools/languages (ex. SAS, SQL, Unix) with consideration to data
governance and data hygiene/quality/controls is highly desired
- Background in database marketing segmentation platforms and
digital marketing stack implementations.
- Comfort with massive data sets, complex segmentation structures
and striated campaign strategies.
- Familiarity with leading-edge data mining techniques and
analytic platforms to feed a strong data management foundation
- Experience in Agile methodologies, processes and mindset
- Highly motivated, assertive self-starter with the ability to
work autonomously or as a strong team participant
- Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, develop new
tactics and address implementation obstacles
- Experience with R, Python is highly desirable
- Experienced with consumer financial services, ideally with
exposure to credit card marketing or retail marketing, and familiar
with consumer protection, privacy and related laws and
policies
- Ability to provide analytic support including pulling data,
preparing analysis, interpreting data, making strategic
recommendations, and presenting to client/product teams
- Experience measuring marketing campaigns and interpreting
results
- Ability to clearly explain technical and analytical information
(verbally, written, and in presentation form) and summarize for key
stakeholdersEligibility Requirements:
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background
investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding
process
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of
the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service
with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the
associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before
they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or
greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they
can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance
expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the
approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in

for this position is 75,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD AnnualSalaries are
adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions
