JOB SUMMARY
The Director, HR Operations & Analytics is responsible for establishing Human Resource objectives, policies, and practices essential for HR productivity, including planning, reporting, project management, administration, and tool optimization.

In this role you will partner with HR and HR Centers of Excellence (COE) Leaders to identify, build and implement improvement initiatives to ensure HR receives optimal value-added services aligned with business needs and requirements.
You will provide subject matter expertise, analytical support, and recommendations to key stakeholders by leveraging HR system resources, developing strategic plans, and guiding tactical initiatives to achieve HR and business unit-specific goals. And, you will oversee the activities of teams that perform Human Resources Project Management, Database Management, and Analytics.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the Human Resources & employee experience.
HR Enablement
Align HR Operations strategy with field HR operating model for each sales channel (Direct Sales, Stores, Call Center, etc.).

Identify best practices to drive improvements of current HR processes and engineer new processes to enable optimal performance of a shared services model.

Partner and consult with Business Unit HR and HR Operation COE leaders to develop critical solutions that improve capabilities, behaviors, and processes across multiple HR teams.

Demonstrate behaviors of a leading change agent and create an environment of inclusion by providing timely information, gaining buy-in, and delivering ongoing communications to impact the HR community's culture positively.

Execute project management methodologies and processes to ensure consistent and standardized project execution.

Ensure alignment between project objectives and technical/operational solutions while maintaining quality development and on-time delivery within budget.

Develop and maintain consistent, standardized project documentation, oversee completion of action plans and centralize repository retention for regular status updates to leadership.

Reporting and Analytics
Lead efforts to compile and analyze data based on key business inquiries identified by HR leadership, test hypotheses, and provide business impact and statistical evidence to support decisions and actions.

Consult with departmental leads to identify HR reporting requirements and address business data needs; construct ad hoc and recurring reports and scorecards, partnering with the Human Resources Technology team to develop ongoing system-based solutions.

Identify and address missing components of the human capital data infrastructure; design, implement and manage tools to improve analysis capabilities.

Maintain an understanding of how reporting and data analytics tools relate to the business decision-making process and evaluate the best fit for business needs.

Manage multiple client sets and drive reporting and data availability to meet the business needs.

Evaluates reporting tools and data structures (in existing and potential implementations) to fit specific business needs best.

Communications
Oversee development of deliverables designed to educate HR and employees on the various tools, resources, and programs that the Charter provides.

Partner with HR project teams to assist with developing and implementing communication strategies that support HR initiatives.

Manage the planning, development, and implementation of numerous HR-related communications for the business and internal stakeholders; identifies, create and maximize communication opportunities.

Other
Recruit, hire, and develop department leaders. Create bench strength.

Provide input and leadership on major Charter initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Knowledge and understanding of HR programs such as training, critical measures, and metrics, and demonstrated ability to create and deliver business-critical decision support reports and tools.
Communicate with all levels of management and external groups, both orally and in writing
Develop, communicate and implement complex plans, strategies, and tactics effectively
Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Lead and motivate a large and geographically dispersed team
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure
Ability to work with others collaboratively to solve problems

Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Human Resources experience - 5 + years
Management experience in HR or Continuous Improvement - 5+ years
Project Management experience - 5+ years
Workforce/Demographic Analysis and metrics and reporting experience - 5+years
Experience working in a PeopleSoft or equivalent HR ERP environment
Experience developing, interpreting, and communicating results from predictive modeling of human capital data
Experience with PeopleSoft, IBM/Kenexa BrassRing, Cornerstone OnDemand, Oracle/SQL, and Vizier reporting technologies
Prior experience must include establishing an HR Shared Service model, change management or continuous improvement role, or consulting experience related to HR transformational change.
