Director, Multicultural Marketing

The Director, Multicultural Marketing is a seasoned marketing
professional who can design programs to positively impact consumer
growth through innovative marketing strategies, video services
development and performance reporting for multicultural segments.
Work in close partnership with sales and marketing organizations to
develop and drive multicultural efforts to evolve Charter's share
enterprise wide. Responsible for ensuring that marketing and sales
efforts across the organization are aligned and executed to drive
value and ROI.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support VP of Multicultural Marketing with the development and
implementation of the multicultural plan and strategy targeted to
Strategize and recommend marketing initiatives to drive year over
year growth of the multicultural customer base.
Work with business intelligence reporting tools for executive
presentations. Collaborate with cross functional groups to drive
call volume and new customer growth.
Develop monthly, quarterly and annual KPIs Dashboards, call volume
reports and Direct Marketing tactics results analysis - Analysis of
sales and marketing efforts to inform/guide the organization in
terms of competitiveness in the industry
Oversee management on new directions and challenges related to
multicultural content and programming and identify networks for
Charter to carry across multicultural segments, especially Asian
Lead creative strategy for go-to-market programs, working in
concert with product management and integrated marketing teams.
Analyze both external and internal data, viewership ratings,
performance data, research data to make decisions. Utilize
MicroStrategy and Tableau for business intelligence reports.
Develop and maintain relationships with programming networks,
studios and other content providers.
Educate the organization regarding market trends with the
multicultural consumer, unrealized potential, and the risk to the
business if the Multicultural segment is not properly
Understanding of Direct Marketing function and ability to utilize
program results and research to inform creative strategy and
establish A/B tests across targeted tactics.
Mentor direct reports and actively find ways to grow and cultivate
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Experience with development of customer metrics and measurement
tools (qualitative and quantitative)
Knowledge of program testing, tracking, profiling, targeting,
metrics and analysis
Experience/knowledge of key Multicultural consumers: Hispanics,
African American and Asian segments including Chinese, South
Asians, and Korean, as well as Japanese and Filipino
Ability to be solutions-oriented thinker with a "can do"
Ability to think creatively and strategically
BA or BS degree required in Business, Marketing, Communications or
Related Work Experience - 8+ years
Multicultural marketing Strategy development experience
Performance Analytics experience working with business intelligence
reporting tools for executive presentations with senior leadership
and C suite executives.
Must have experience using MicroStrategy and Tableau for business
Industry experience in consumer technology or related
Direct Marketing experience in Acquisition, Upsell/Crossell and
with major advertising campaigns, including TV, Direct Mail, Email

- Ability to manage all phases of a large project from beginning

- Ability to use personal computer and software applications
(i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and feedback in a
- Knowledge of cable and telecommunications products and services
(e.g., Cable/High Speed Internet/Telephone)Education
