team and responsible for delivering measurable business impact by
focusing on upstream concept, value proposition, and product
development. You will help represent the voice of the US consumer
and Market in a dynamic global business environment. You will
develop a deep understanding of consumer insights, customer needs
and marry them with innovation ideas to develop consumer-focused
propositions that move the business forward. The Product Marketing
Manager (PMM) will develop a fact-based "Where to Play" and "How to
Win" product strategy for the retail customers of the Philips
Grooming and Beauty business. As PMM you will leverage the input of
consumer research, customer input, and stakeholder alignment to
develop a rolling 3-year product, pricing, and packaging innovation
roadmap that delivers both category and market share growth.
Together with your team, you will work on those ideas through
proposition development and market introduction.You are responsible
for
- Understanding the market, consumer trends, competitive activity
to develop winning long-term business plans that drive revenue,
profitability and market share
- Help craft the long-term US innovation roadmap that contributes
to the business growth ambitions. Aid in the development of annual
Business/Market Collaboration plan and the 3-Year Strategic Plan of
Record
- Analyze consumer research, customer research, channel trends,
current market conditions and competitor information to unlock new
insights that will deliver new propositions to market and drive
competitive advantage
- Be an integral part of the biggest Business/Market
Collaboration team, partnering with the global marketing team to
ensure that all innovations are relevant to US consumers and retail
customers
- Conduct ability-to-win and cost-to-win analysis working with US
Consumer Marketing Managers (CMMs), retail Sales leaders and
Insights & Analytics team
- Evaluate Integrated Value Propositions (IPV) and provide key
inputs to the business, including requirements for new products,
propositions, platforms and claims requirements
- Monitor performance of the Integrated Value Prepositions
against targets, define and drive execution of
performance-improvement plans with business category leaders
- Translate customer retail needs to global and local Center of
Excellence (COE) colleagues to ensure that Philips is a preferred
vendor partner
- Translate the midterm product roadmap into concrete product
specifications for implementation by the Sales Teams and the
Category Management organization in the different sales
channels.
- Establish effective working relationships and ability to
influence cross-functional stakeholdersYou are a part ofThe growth
engine of the Personal Health team, driving marketing excellence to
support ongoing base business health as well as transform the
business through new business initiatives. As part of the Marketing
Team, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional
colleagues, connecting customer and consumers with personal care
solutions improving health everywhere while growing as a business
builder. You will be working in a network of various stakeholders
based in both the Netherlands and in the US country
organization.This position is based in Stamford, CT with a hybrid
model of work. (3 days in office, 2 days from home) with occasional
travel to our corporate office in the Netherlands.To succeed in
this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
- Demonstrated passion for putting the Consumer at the center of
all that is done
- Technical Marketing/Business Analytics & Fundamentals
skills
- Relevant work experience in marketing / brand management of
consumer products including life-cycle management
- Experienced with product development and product launches
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills and the passion to
drive business growth
- Drive to take initiative and ownership
- Data-driven decision making and problem-solving
- Lead projects, delivering on time and in full by leveraging
cross-functional teams
