  • The Customer Logistics Manager is a key position within Supply Chain Organization. The role has responsibility for supporting and optimizing all aspects of the customer experience as it relates to Logistics for all North America Henkel Consumer Goods.
  • Primary functions are to be the subject matter expert for customer pick-up programs, track logistics KPIs for all customers, and to drive operational excellence throughout our entire supply chain process from order capture to order execution.
  • Effective operational management is required to balance service, cost, capability, and to ensure sustained high-performance levels.
  • The role partners with other Logistics Leaders and collaborates with key business partners to ensure effective management, interacting with Commercial, Finance, Purchasing, and other Supply Chain functions to identify and meet business requirements at a tactical level.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Customer Logistics Manager will facilitate operational excellence in network design and delivery, logistics and performance management. The role is divided between strategic orientation and operational execution as required.
  • The role will be required to achieve the following deliverables including but not limited to: Process Management Develop and improve current capability from order capture to order execution to deliver against aggressive cost savings targets and to improve customer service across North America.
  • Determine opportunities to improve customer order profile, order patterns, and optimal truck utilization
  • Ensure compliance with Henkel standard operating procedures and any other internal / external compliance requirements
  • Ensure effective and cost-efficient operating tools to support operations management Henkel Customer Relationships Optimize the logistics activities from all Henkel NA supply locations to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to optimize the flow of product from all Henkel supply locations ensuring the supply and demand plans are achieved and meet customer expectations
  • Partner with Customer Service to develop collaborative customer centric solutions that optimize order execution and logistics activities
  • Lead monthly KPI reviews to discuss results, identify root cause, and develop corrective actions to improve service
