Our Chief Data Office also known as our Enterprise Business Data
Solutions team (EDS) is focused on driving innovation through
optimizing how we leverage data to drive strategy and create a new
business model - disrupting the insurance market. This role is part
of the Data Build Management, which is responsibile to support
various teams to plan, build and support through the product
lifecycle to ensure, performance stability and reliability of data
solutions by providing world class support. - What will your
essential responsibilities include? --- Engagement with Data
product owners, Business partners and delivery leads from detailed
planning to ensure Data business requirements are properly captured
and tracked through the life cycle.
--- Analyze and mitigate risk pertaining to Data solution delivery
timelines, quality, stability and performance. -
--- Develop common strategies and governance for Data solutions
rollout for multiple portfolios / workstreams.
--- Implementing and managing Data solutions rollout processes for
code through development, test, UAT, Staging and Production
--- Forecast demand for DEEP Platform resources and identify
opportunities for greater efficiency across environments.
--- Manage governance and compliance for all the Data workstreams
and manage story lifecycle -
--- UAT planning - data load and data refresh for UAT Review UAT
sign-off by workstream mapping back to stories and release
--- Demonstrate proactive communication with development, support
and delivery teams.
--- Participate in efforts to identify root cause and deliver
--- Ablity to work in the "Follow the sun" support model
--- Grow and maintain data solutions knowledge through
--- Achieve & maintain highest business customer confidence and net
promoter score (NPS) You will report to Delivery Lead Build
Management. We're looking for someone who has these abilities and
skills: --- A minimum of an Undergraduate University Degree in
Computer Science or related fields with 6+ years of experience.
--- Data engineering background with ETL, Big data platform
(HDInsight / ADLS / Data Bricks) -
--- Experience in systems integration, and developer support tools
Azure DevOps, CICD. release management, and configuration
management, Automation, Python.
--- Basic understand of DataOps, AGILE methodologies.
--- Experience in performance management (APM) tools, Query
--- Experience is building reports and dashboard using excel, power
--- Experience working in distributed global teams
--- 4+ years experience in supporting area of Data Management
--- Own availability, scalability, and efficiency for day-to-day
--- Ability to troubleshoot issues and able to handle different
types of user inquiries
--- Exercises judgement for decision making on complex issues that
impact the delivery.
--- Makes recommendations to management on new processes, tools and
techniques, or development of new products and services -
--- Possesses skills and awareness and consistent basic project
management, analytical and application skills
--- Consistently determines and executes basic research and/or
--- Demonstrates level of experience/ability to influence,
understand business problems in technical terminology
--- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
--- Extremely strong interpersonal skills and relationship building
and able to liaise with staff at all levels in the organization
--- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear
requirements, specifications and documentation for data systems AXA
