Job Description:

Assistant Regional Facility Manager

The Regional Assistant Facility Manager (RAFM) will serve as the primary contact for all Generators, Risk Logic reports and electrical switch gear maintenance for all PBGL and PBPS locations across the country under the directions of the Regional Facility Managers. The RAFM will also be responsible to maintain and oversee the Omni generator monitoring system and act as the backup administrator for the MicroMain work order system. The RAFM will be responsible for assisting the RFM on facility projects and day-today operations as needed.

Position responsibilities include:

Review scope/ create specifications by site for generator maintenance and operation.
Ensure that all preventative maintenance is conducted on all generators and electrical switch gear and equipment testing aligns with corporate, manufacturer and industry best practices.
Work with on-site staff to ensure all testing and PM maintenance tasks are completed and scheduled with no disruption to operations.
Ensure all emission permitting requirements are meet on a monthly basis and recorded.
Review Risk Logic reports for all locations and work with General Managers to complete recommendations.
Schedule Infrared scanning and switch gear maintenance for all locations.
Communicate and coordinate with senior management as required in written or verbal form.
Assist RFM in facility budget planning for capital projects.
Assist RFM with project management.
Responsible to liaise with onsite staff to coordinate contractor efforts, performance, and compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
Assists with development and implementation of emergency preparedness plans and functions as an emergency contact for generator systems.
Assists RFM in new facility development, renewals, and relocations. Activities include consultation regarding site selection and design, facility practices, Commissioningand Decommissioning of industrial sites as needed.
Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies - such as system failures, fire alarms, severe weather, etc., 24 x 7.
Interfaces with all levels of management, functional staffs, and contractors and outside agencies.
Provide backup coverage when needed to PB HQ facility in Stamford CT
Provide backup administrative support for the MicroMain Work order system.
In partnership with our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) department enforce EH&S policies and procedures, including local, state, and federal compliance.
Assist the RFM in all Shelton related capital projects.
Develop operating and emergency policies and procedures. Work closely with the facilities staff, management, IT, security, and vendors to ensure that policies and procedures are followed.
Manage the facilities as-built records. Ensure that records are maintained and updated. Retain copies of the critical infrastructure documentation and provide local GMs with on-site copies.
Travel as required.

Minimum of 5 years experience in Facilities Management or a related field
Proficient in MS office applications, particularly Excel, Word, use of e-mail.
Experience in databases a plus
The candidate must have proven problem-solving abilities in facilities management as it relates to space design and project management.
Experience with AutoCAD a plus.
Knowledge of building systems including electrical, HVAC, Fire systems and Generators
