POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Manager - Operations is responsible for modeling the 3 Company values of Compassion, Integrity, and Excellence, and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The Project Manager - Operations will oversee Medical Director payments, contracts, reconciliations, etc. S/he will also complete alll clinical reporting out of SHP, Pillar Reporting, Big 5 PPD reporting, Shaping Performance Excellence reporting, MD awards, New Market Analysis, De Novos, Ad-Hoc, and Special Projects from the Divisions Presidents and the Chief Operations Officer. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Possesses expertise in complex project management methodologies, tools and techniques that include project tracking, budget management, and problem resolution techniques to assure the overall project remains on track and deliverables are achieved.
  • Facilitates and orchestrates activities, to assist in problem identification and resolution, consensus building, mediation and project planning and completion. Additionally, assists in identifying and evaluation good practices, both internal and external; utilizes existing venues to foster information sharing and transfer.
  • Provides project leadership for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the project management process consistent with identified project scope, timeline and expectations.
  • Provides guidance on reporting and tracking factors driving census and admissions to increase visibility into program labor
  • Reviews CAP analysis.
  • Assists in translating key performance indicators to the field.
  • Reviews Pillar award calculations, guidance on ADHOC reporting and modeling, and reviews General Accounting close processes.
  • Works with top management in strategic planning on big 4 expenses, expense control, KPI's (financial and clinical), Sales Analysis, Home Health, and Palliative.
  • Collects and analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses.
  • Provides interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory, and customer financial regulations.
  • Directs preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Interprets and applies corporate financial policies, government legislation, and accounting theory.
  • Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecasts.
  • Participates in the evaluation of proposed acquisitions and divestitures.
  • Reviews the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ("CMS") weekly news updates regarding changes across the Medicare Administrative Contractor ("MAC"), National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization ("NHPCO"), and National Associations for Home Care & Hospice ("NAHC").
  • Leads the preparation, review, and administration of Medical Director contracts. This includes the full process of Medical Director contracting, from the job creation to the contract being filed in the HRIS system.
  • Creates required Medical Director contracts by compiling information from multiple sources, including but not limited to DCR, Licensing, Legal Entities and Provider Numbers, Job Requisitions, and Payment Workbook.
  • Collaborates with the Human Resources Operations Supervisor to assist with the management of Workday processes; work with Executive Directors, Regional Vice Presidents, and occasionally, Division Presidents; and access information from Legal and Accounts Payable, when necessary.
  • Creates contract documents, distributes contract documents for signature, and approves contracts when they return executed.

Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, colleagues, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Computer Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Other Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations A valid driver's license and auto liability insurance. Other Skills and Abilities Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
