Business Process Integration ManagerPosition Title: Business
Process Integration Manager --- Position OverviewWe have an
immediate need for a seasoned Business Process Integration Manager
to play a key role in being responsible for leading the development
of integrated business processes across the Operations and Business
Functions delivery streams for a large, global client of ours.
Candidates for this role must be in either the Eastern or Central
Times zones and will be remote. This is a strategic position
critical to driving IT and OT convergence and the realization of a
vertical integration and Operational Excellence strategies. This
position's primary function is to manage the Integrated Design
activities for process areas covering both ERP and Non-ERP
(Overlapping areas between Business Functions and Ops). They will
ensure coordinated delivery of process design efforts to an agreed
scope, cost and schedule. The role is accountable for overseeing
the definition of Business Analysis, Process Mapping and
Improvement methods for the program, ensuring the cohesive
development of the overall Business Architecture for the client's
digitally transformed future state. Supported by other specialists
in the Digital Integration team, the role will work closely with
program Partners and other 3rd parties ensuring aligned approaches
for process development, application selection and solution
configuration. The candidate will report to our client's Digital
Integration Lead who has overall accountability for developing the
enterprise architecture, data excellence, process integration and
deployment of shared infrastructure and platforms.The successful
candidate will:--- Report to Digital Integrated Lead collaborating
with the Business Functions and Operations delivery streams and
associated Partners and 3rd Parties--- Manages the Business Process
Integration stream including all resources, scope, costs, timelines
and associated status tracking escalating issues to the Digital
Integration Lead as required--- Manages Integrated Design
activities for process areas covering both ERP and Non-ERP (with
primary focus on overlapping areas between Business Functions and
Ops)--- Supported by the Architecture Office and business process
specialists, arbitrate how vendor specific methodologies apply in
the development of the Business Process models to ensure a
coordinated approach across streams--- Coordinates the development
of high level "end-to-end" scenarios that tell a simple story of
how future state systems knit-together transforming the business
and realize key strategies--- Accountable for the overall
development and management of the Business Process Hierarchy
ensuring language, structure and definitions is appropriate and
exploits the use of predefined processes--- In collaboration with
Operational Excellence (OE), defines and ensures compliance to the
Business Process mapping and OE standards across the project's
delivery streams--- Champions the use of the Enterprise
Architecture Tool (Orbus iServer) to define and document business
process models and associated Business Architecture artefacts---
Ensures OT/IT process integration points are identified with focus
on identifying and resolving business processes gaps and overlaps
in key areas such as such as material management, production and
maintenance planning and scheduling, work order management, asset
management, product quality, reconciliation, and product costing---
Facilitate resolution of business process gaps, overlaps, and/or
disparities eliminating any design conflicts or omissions across
Business and Operations streams, escalating as required--- Ensures
appropriate QA reviews on business process artifacts developed for
the Program ensuring integration across various functions --- In
collaboration with the Architecture Office, ensures the development
of Business Architecture integrates with Application, Information
and Technical Architecture models all mastered in the Enterprise
Architecture tool--- Contribute to the definition of the Reference
Architecture across various functional clusters ensuring
consistency with the "end-to-end" scenarios--- In collaboration
with the Architecture Office, assist with the development of
transition roadmaps for each siteSkills and QualificationsA
candidate that we would love would be:--- 15+ years' experience
with major transformation programs ideally involving both
Operations and Business Functional area processes--- Has strong
Business Analysis, Business Process Re-engineering or Business
Process Improvement background--- Track record in establishing
Business Process Improvement capabilities ground up--- Hands on
experience in a manufacturing industry--- Ability to quickly grasp
frameworks and methodologies including design thinking and agile
methodsEssential Skills: o Business Skills: ? Naturally talent in
aligning disparate parties against a common process and set of
objectives? Experience with business strategy development,
organization design and change management ? Knowledge of the
chemicals and/or mining industry with subject matter expertise
across associated operational (maintenance, manufacturing,
production, HSE) and business support functions (HR, Supply Chain,
Commercial, Finance)? Ability simplify complex topics and detail in
to simply to understand concepts for business stakeholders? Ability
to quickly build broad network of business relationships and bridge
the connection with technical SMEs? A strong tendency to "seek to
understand" in facilitating alignment across disparate teams and
summarize "detail"? Ability to manage delivery to time and budget
including oversight of contractors and consultantso Technical and
Information Skills: ? Strong and proven Project Management skills
with an appreciation for detailed planning and progress tracking?
Formal training and qualifications in business analysis methods
(e.g. Six Sigma, BPMN)? Awareness of digital and emerging
technologies and implications on business automation and process
efficiencies? Experience with SAP or other ERP implementations?
Experience with managing delivery in highly complex integrated
environments involving multiple 3rd parties? Applying lean and
agile methods ? Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and
practices (e.g. TOGAF) (preferred)o Competencies ? Strong
facilitation skills and statesmanship? Highly methodical/analytical
and structured thinking? Drives alignment through application of
decision quality processes? Leads, inspires and builds trust with
others? Coaching and developing; Influencing and persuading?
