Full time Job Number 373495 In this role, you have the opportunity
to: The Sr. Manager Analytics and Performance Improvements reports
to the Director, of NA demand and supply planning. As a key
contributor to the Business Analytics team, the Sr. Manager
Analytics and Performance Improvements is responsible for leading a
team of data analysts, to drive integration through insights. The
Sr. Manager Analytics and Process Improvements is responsible for
business and data analysis functions within the North America
Demand and Supply planning, specifically working on internal
reporting (in both structured and ad-hoc projects). The Sr. Manager
provides a key source of expertise to the whole operations. Key
internal customers include Demand/ Supply Planning, Customer
Operations, Marketing and Sales. As an active contributor, and
often ad-hoc member to several teams, the Sr. Manager performs
financial, business and strategic analyses and recommends courses
of action that help enable decision-makers to meet their business
and financial objectives. You are responsible for: * Create and
produce performance dashboards for daily/weekly/monthly reports. *
Utilize analytical tools to track, report, and analyze forecast
variation * Provide Demand planning and MRP system expertise and
training. * Analyze and maintain critical systems setting such,
safety stock, lead times etc. * Analyze weekly over sales and under
sales for supply and excess implications. * Conduct ad-hoc
analysis/reports for Supply Chain Ops team. * Compile the analysis,
forecasting and reporting that informs and improves the
effectiveness of the planning, execution, optimization, and ROI of
marketing strategy and programs. * Manage large cross-functional
projects as a strategic analytics expert to ensure cross-functional
projects are customer-centric and aligned with organizational
objectives * Provide weekly analysis of schedule receipts and make
recommendation for actions. * Provide root cause analysis for
customer cancels orders * Team up with cross-functional internal
groups to improve measurement and analysis while maximizing return
on data insights to drive the business forward. * Support model
development and provide strategic thinking in the management of
complex structured and unstructured data and analytics. * Provide
actionable insights based on data to various stakeholders to drive
company objectives. * Document and maintain business processes *
Analyze customer returns and make recommendation. * Additional
projects as assigned. You are a part of: The Sr. Manager Analytics
reports into the Operations and supply chain management department
and is located in Stamford CT. To succeed in this role, you should
have the following skills and experience: * BA/BS degree required
preferably in Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering * Six sigma
certification a plus * At least one year of people management
experience is required. * Demonstrated ability to influence
decision makers who drive key input. * Advanced computer skills
including Microsoft Office * Must be a Microsoft Excel power user
(pivots, v-lookups, index, match, offsets, dynamic graphing, etc.)
* Strong math & analytical mindset * Excellent oral and written
communication skills * Strong work ethic and excellent attendance *
Must be able to multi-task and take on multiple projects at once *
