Audit Business Development Senior Manager

Work you'll do
As an Audit Growth Senior Manager, you will be responsible for
working with leaders from our New York, Princeton and Parsippany
offices to develop and implement targeted relationship development
plans, with the goal of increasing Deloitte revenue and
(eventually) winning the audit. You will apply your knowledge of
the Greater Tri-State market and business community as well as
Deloitte's strengths and relevant qualifications. You will help
identify regional growth targets and develop regional growth
messaging. During active pursuits, you will assist in developing
pursuit strategy, share best practices for client engagement during
the pursuit process, challenge team thinking, coach orals, etc. You
will also help to create a growth culture within the audit practice
through presentations, training for partners and staff, targeted
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Develop and drive strategic relationship plans for priority
accounts and opportunities, assign account team members to concrete
action items with key stakeholders, and meet with account teams to
vet/support/revise those plans in order to drive accountability and
- Be a trusted advisor to the office and growth leaders in your
markets, bringing insights, leading practices, and creative
thinking to support them in leading growth.
- Develop pursuit strategy for proposal teams engaged in active
proposals. Help to determine overall and specific messages for the
pursuit, bringing recent marketplace experiences and pursuit best
practices to the team. Support ongoing revision of those
messages/that plan, based on pursuit activities/client feedback.
Support proposal document development in some cases. Coach orals in

support of the market's audit growth program as well as
presentations, webcasts, newsletters, etc. as needed.
- Serve as subject-matter expert for local audit practice on
marketplace developments, competitive intelligence, pursuit best
practices, and relevant Deloitte messaging (e.g., audit

- Experience in marketing, pursuit management, or business
- 8+ years of experience preferred
- Big Four, audit, or other professional services marketing
- BA required, MA preferred - Marketing, Business, English,
Journalism, Communications, or related field(s)
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Superior relationship development and persuasive skills - at
all levels of the organization
- Strong multi-tasking and team/project management
- Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
