Service Technician. Perform preventive maintenance, audits, and
repairs that ensure our cutting-edge systems deliver maximum
performance. Ensure optimal and safe performance of client-site
equipment by leading preventive and corrective maintenance
activities, supervising field teams, and serving as a technical
subject matter expert. You as Sr. Service Technician , you’ll
inspect and repair machinery, dismantle and reassemble equipment,
and apply your mechanical knowledge to solve complex issues. You’ll
deliver detailed audit reports, train operators, and collaborate
with remote support teams to resolve technical challenges. With
strong leadership and hands-on skills, you’ll drive process
improvements, uphold quality standards, and keep our automation
solutions reliable and efficient Duties and responsibilities:
Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance
work. Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine
efficiency and to detect problems. Inspect or test damaged machine
parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair
needs. Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines,
machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified
procedures. Install, replace, or change machine parts and
attachments, according to production specifications. Dismantle
machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain
falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists. Record production, repair, and
machine maintenance information. Read work orders and
specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair
or maintenance. Set up and operate machines, and adjust controls to
regulate operations. Collaborate with other workers to repair or
move machines, machine parts, or equipment. Inventory and
requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that
stock can be maintained and replenished. Transport machine parts,
tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and
storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies. Collect and discard worn
machine parts and other refuse in order to maintain machinery and
work areas. Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning
solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
Provide training on the maintenance and operations of the
equipment. Work with remote support teams to open tickets related
to support and warranty. Travel to North America, Mexico or EU for
trainings and meetings as required. Ability to read, interpret, and
apply information from technical documents (blueprints, schematics,
and assembly drawings). Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME),
providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Zr
Requirements: Competence Areas: Minimum 4 years of experience in
machinery or other related fields. Education: Completion of a
post-secondary program in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanical
Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience is
preferred. Knowledge in details of all types of conveyors and
associated components. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs
and CMMS. Good understating of logistics processes.
Mechanical/conveyor knowledge. Possess a valid passport with the
ability to travel internationally. Possesses the basic knowledge
and skill set required for troubleshooting and repairs.
Certifications in all lift equipment. Strong analytical skills to
document faults, observations, and process deviations accurately.
Personal Characteristics: A keen attention to detail and the
ability to solve mechanical and electrical problems. Keeping an
organized daily log of all machine maintenance and repairs.
Collaborating with other technicians to solve complex mechanical
issues. Great organizational and time management abilities. Have
