CardWorks Servicing ("CWS") is one of the largest privately-held provider of outsourcing services for bankcard-related products to banks and non-bank lenders in North America. CWS offers management expertise across the credit spectrum and supports both MasterCard and Visa accounts as well as a variety of private label debit, credit, stored value, and customer bankcards. Position Summary: The JIRA Engineer, will develop and maintain automation workflows in JIRA, Confluence, and other Atlassian products as needed. You will manage Atlassian servers and cloud instances, install, configure, or develop plugins to extend JIRA capabilities. You will develop dashboards, filters, and custom views, define custom fields, test outcomes, and identify defects, as needed by the business. Other duties include upgrading and enhancing JIRA projects, defining and executing SDLC tasks, and documenting and maintaining the SDLC.The JIRA Engineer will also support the Operations Systems Administrator team by taking ownership of operational tools, applications, dashboards and utilities in support of the IT team as needed. You will assist by assembling and maintaining support centers (Network Operations Control center, Service Operations Control center, etc), dashboards (IT operations metrics, measurements) as well as developing internal tools for the IT department to help automate processes and to provide insights into the operational status of the IT department. Additionally the JIRA Developer / Engineer will assist the desktop support team when requested by IT Leadership.The JIRA Engineer will have a broad technical knowledge, and ability to use that knowledge and skills to assist the IT department in various technical capacities. They will leverage technical skills to build dashboards, NOC, SOC and other real-time monitoring mechanisms at the direction of IT leadership. Essential Functions: Manages daily operational needs, including user administration, security configurations, scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting within the Atlassian Cloud Ability to customize JIRA and Confluence using OOTB settings, plugins, customizing fields, or developing unique code to extend capabilities as needed Develops unique workflows to meet business and or regulatory requirements Manages existing and new projects for all Organizational Areas, Business Units, and Departments, across the entire corporate enterprise Ability to import and export data: manipulating and changing xml, editing, changing, and importing data migrating from on premise to cloud instances Defines, builds, and reports using dashboards, KPI's, and SLA's Compliance with Laws & Regulations: Responsible for complying with all of the Bank's internal control policies and procedures. Responsible for understanding and complying with all laws and regulations to which the Bank is subject. Responsible for communicating problems in operations, noncompliance with the code of conduct, noncompliance with laws and regulations, policy violations, or illegal acts.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in technology-related field, or equivalent broad experience required, four (4) years of related and equivalent experience accepted in lieu of education requirement. Five (5) years of directly related experience in IT with demonstrated expertise with JIRA / Confluence is required. Project Management Certifications are preferred. Atlassian Certifications are preferred. Summary of Qualifications: Experience with Agile Project Management Methodologies, and specifically SCRUM master experience, is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required Solid Understanding of Information Technology concepts (information security, operating systems, networking, development, database) Strong problem solving skills while working under tight deadlines or pressures Ability to multi-task, deal with and work with tight/conflicting deadlines prioritizing work appropriately Must be team orientated, capable of working with and under the direction of others, while also working independently to accomplish assigned tasks and projects.
