KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be a great writer who understands financial markets and wants to be part of a winning team. They will play a critical role in helping our team communicate our unique investing research process and approach to a large and growing audience of investors around the world. They are excited about (and have a solid understanding) of the way financial markets and the economy work.
Hedgeye has a long track record of success and is enjoying record growth. We are looking for someone who is 1) a loyal teammate 2) has a sense of humor/likes to laugh and is 3) unafraid to roll their sleeves up and work hard.
The successful candidate will become an integral part of a close-knit and creative team committed to winning together and supporting one another. They will work closely with members of our Mass Market team as well as our analysts to identify and write compelling investing content on a variety of platforms including our website, social media, research products and email marketing.

Write, edit, and oversee thoughtful market/economic insights for a large and growing global investing community featured on our highly trafficked website
Create compelling social media content (primarily via our "@Hedgeye" Twitter handle) to further increase our expanding social media presence and engagement
Proactively identify interesting stories, developments, analyst calls and related content to be featured across our media distribution vehicles
Assist your teammates in writing/editing/delivering assorted daily/weekly investing research products to our subscribers
Work with the HedgeyeTV studio team to identify investing content, write titles and brief summaries for various HedgeyeTV videos
Write email content marketing blasts to our audience of subscribers when necessary


SKILLS REQUIRED:

A strong grasp of financial markets and economics is essential to success in this role
Excellent writing skills are also essential to success in this role
A great sense of humor and strong appreciation of the value of "teamwork"
Ability to effectively communicate and engage with an online investing audience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Interest working in a fast-paced, dynamic and highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
Extraordinary attention to detail is an absolute must
Knowledge of digital trends and a range of applications and software including social media platforms


EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Economics and/or Journalism
Experience working at a financial media company, investing firm, or related is a definite plus
Experience on Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms is a plus
