Marketing Operations Specialist

Contribute to improving Marketing performance through clearly
defined offers, pricing and tools strategies. The specialist is
responsible for coordinating across multiple departments to ensure
successful implementation of Marketing offers and pricing
activities and ensure all impacted departments have the details
they need to effectively implement, sell, and handle customers
impacted by these initiatives. Act as the advocate for the
increased utilization of database marketing principals and
platforms (i.e. adoption of a data-driven marketing culture).
Utilize all available and necessary database marketing tools,
techniques and software solutions to create an enterprise-wide
approach toward data-driven decision making. Drive Marketing
enablement for all marketing departments and sales channels.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and
enhance the customer experience
Execution of Marketing Operations, Pricing Strategies, Performance
and Business Development initiatives.
Deploy tools and strategies to interpret the strategic directive by
accurately capturing target audiences, validating scenarios, and
analyze customer files.
Coordinate with cross functional departments to effectively
implement and market new offers. This includes understanding the
following departmental functions: Revenue and Forecast, Offer
Management, Billing Operations, Customer Service, Direct Sales,
Outbound Telemarketing, Direct Marketing, Inbound Sales and Online
Implement marketing processes to achieve operational efficiencies
and maximize customer growth.
Create reports that support performance measurements, opportunity
sizing and various Marketing Enablement initiatives.
Collaborate with Marketing Analytics, Sales and Billing Strategy to
identify, develop and implement support mechanisms for sales
enablement and marketing of complete services portfolio.
Provide regular updates on key sales enhancing programs including
recurring reporting as well as written and oral presentations.
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Knowledge of marketing database (CRM) structure, tools, and
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentment skills
Strong SQL skills and experience
Significant project management experience
Ability to think strategically while understanding key critical
Ability to analyze and interpret data and continually evolve based
on key learnings
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in a clear
and straightforward manner
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
and company personnel
Ability to maintain confidentiality (and honor all Charter customer
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and handle shifting
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Information Systems,
Management or a related discipline of study AND OR equivalent
MBA and/or PMP Certification preferred

Marketing project management experience; 3+ years
SQL Developer/ Alteryx / Other data management tools; 3+ years
Direct marketing and/or database marketing experience; 3+ years
Management/Leadership Work Experience; 2+ years
Cable industry experience; Highly desired
Experience with Cable Billing and Sales Enablement Systems; Highly
Experience managing cross-functional teams; Highly desired
