Position: District Supervisor Twelve (12) Month Position Start
Date: July 1, 2026 - Pending Criminal History Clearance
QUALIFICATIONS: New Jersey Supervisor Certificate. Knowledge and
experience of special education, regular education and remedial
education programs, and curricula. Ability to implement an
effective staff evaluation and staff development program. Knowledge
of effective models and designs for high standard student academic
program. Evidence of successful experience in a supervisory
position. Knowledge of child study team. Knowledge of state and
federal regulations pertaining to special education. Certification
in education services field preferred. Alternatives to the above
qualifications the Commission finds appropriate and acceptable.
SCOPE: The Supervisor of School Programs and Services reports to
the Assistant Superintendent or Designee, and as requested and
approved, assists the Assistant Superintendent or Designee in
supervisory and administrative duties, required to assure full
compliance to statute and code and a high standard of academic
program for students. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the development,
design and implementation of high quality school programs,
initiating curricula development as directed by the Assistant
Superintendent or Designee to meet changing student needs. Assist
in providing supervision and evaluation of certified and
non-certified staff, in a consistent manner to improve overall
employee performance. Facilitate Curriculum Revision Cycle. Coach &
evaluate instructional implementation of Differentiated Curriculum
& Instruction (including Universal Supports). Integrate educational
technology to support differentiated instruction for student
subgroups. Ensure consistent practices across programs. Conduct
evaluations and assessments as assigned. Assist in providing staff
development training through in-service workshops and model
demonstration instruction within classrooms. Assist in seeking out
sources of program funding and assist in the development of grant
proposals to increase school/program resources and broaden student
educational offerings. Assist in the monitoring of board-approved
instructional materials, resources and equipment, to ensure
alignment with students' individualized objectives and goals.
?Assist in effective student management. Keep abreast of current
methods, philosophies and programs in the literature and research
and incorporate to enhance student programs. Other duties as
assigned by the Assistant Superintendent or Designee, for example,
Assume administrative responsibility for a school building, as
assigned by the Assistant Superintendent or Designee. Perform such
other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as may be
assigned by the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent.

Bereavement Days are included. MINIMUM SALARY: $96,000, per
