--- Manage preparation of consolidated Federal income tax return. --- Manage preparation of State and Local income and franchise tax returns. --- Manage tax provision process, SC 740 reporting, calculation and preparation of accurate tax balances. --- Remain current on SEC Reporting for taxes, perform tax & accounting research on technical issues. --- Manage preparation of Federal, state, and local estimated tax payments and extensions. --- Optimize utilization of tax compliance and provision software. --- Participate in Tax Due Diligence and Purchase Accounting processes. --- Maintaining appropriate SOX controls and processes over Tax accounting matters. --- Generate and implement procedural improvements to current compliance processes. --- Contribute to Company's tax planning through innovative ideas. --- Assist Vice President, Taxes and Director of Taxes on various projects as assigned. --- Hyperion Financial Management ("HFM"), Excel. --- Significant experience with ASC 740. --- Proficient with tax software compliance packages.
