Position Description
The Accountant will report to the Director of the Family Office and duties include the following:

• Oversee all activities of the general ledgers, including cash, bank reconciliations, revenues and expenses, monthly closes, verification of posted entries etc.
  
• Train, direct, and review the day-to-day activities and work product of the Junior Accountants
  
• Book to tax accounting; annual tax workpapers and review of tax returns
  
• Completion and review of monthly financial statement reporting books
  
• Completion and review of internal & external budgets
  
• Oversight of foreign reporting entities (real estate)
  
• Oversight of for-profit entities
  
• Preparation and/or review of annual audit workpapers
  
• Calculation of performance and working alongside our Investment Manager
  
• Special projects as advised by the Director and/or Founder - varies every year
  
• Liaison with internal colleagues, outside consultants and other offices
  Candidate Description
  Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting with 5+ years' experience in public or private accounting, tax and/or financial positions. Candidate should have excellent Microsoft Office and strong research skills.
