healthcare audits to validate the company's adherence to policies,
procedures, processes, and best practices. Collaborate on the
creation and execution of an Audit & Monitoring program, including
having primary responsibility for assessing business risks,
creating audit work programs, gaining access to company systems,
gathering and formatting raw data, applying analytic techniques to
data, identifying issues, and recommending mitigation plans.
Additionally, will have the opportunity to assist in other elements
of the execution of an effective compliance program.Primary
Responsibilities--- Manage elements of the annual compliance risk
assessment--- Retrieve required data to develop and maintain
monthly and quarterly compliance dashboards--- Plan and execute
compliance audit and monitoring activities--- Identify risks,
issues, and implement remediation plans--- Document and present
findings--- Provide recommendations, support, and background
expertise to others within the Ethics & Compliance Department, as
applicable, to assist in overall department operations--- Lead and
assist on special department projects and other assigned duties---
Assist with ad-hoc department initiatives, as necessaryEducation
and Experience Requirements--- At least 5 years of experience in
the pharmaceutical industry--- At least 5 years of experience
performing healthcare audits--- Bachelor's degree required;
Graduate degree or CPA a plus--- Certified in Healthcare Compliance
(CHC), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferredNecessary
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities--- Proven experience in
pharmaceutical industry, with deep knowledge of business
operations--- Proven ability to execute healthcare audits with
minimal supervision--- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
(e.g., False Claims Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act,
Anti-Kickback Statute)--- Knowledge of healthcare industry
Corporate Integrity Agreements and related settlements, and best
practices consistent with Office of Inspector General (OIG) and
other relevant standards--- Knowledge of healthcare processes and
procedures, and the risks inherent in them, including but not
limited to Advisory Boards, Consulting, Donations, Field
Interactions, Sponsorships, Transparency Reporting, Travel &
Expenses, User Access & Segregation of Duties, and Vendor Due
Diligence--- Ability to assess and appropriately calibrate levels
of risk associated with specific business practices--- Ability to
understand the end-to-end of a procure-to-pay process--- Ability to
conduct multiple, simultaneous projects, while building consensus
across departments--- Strong attention to detail and critical
thinking skills, with demonstrated analytical skills to validate
work to ensure accurate analysis--- Ability to exercise independent
judgment; authorized to review matters independently and is
expected to demonstrate professionalism to escalate relevant
matters, as appropriate--- Proficient in data gathering and
analysis, including use of applicable tools and software. Such as
MS Office and various data analysis tools (e.g., SAP, Google
Analytics, Power Point, Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Tableau).---
