FoodPrep Solutions provides services to the Foodservice Industry throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. An outstanding Billing Coordinator should have strong numerical aptitude and excellent customer service skills.This is a fantastic opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a company that expects to see fast and significant growth, and to be a part of the team that makes it happen!Position Summary:The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for creating and sending invoices, tracking payment processes, keeping meticulous records, and resolving any discrepancies. You should also be able to handle client complaints and follow up on any issues relating to the billing process.Essential Functions:* Planning and supervising billing and collection operations.* Coordinating with other departments to ensure the accuracy of billing information.* Corresponding with clients, answering questions, and resolving issues.* Following up on outstanding payments.* Preparing and sending invoices and monthly statements.* Process payments - apply cash, checks, ACH, credit cards to appropriate customer accounts* Maintaining and updating records.* Creating and managing client accounts.* Reconciling account discrepancies.Required and Preferred Qualifications:* Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, accounting, or related field of study* Preferred Experience: 2-4 years in a billing or accounting-related position.* Required Location: Must be located within the Stamford, CT area Powered by JazzHRuR5EiRTiyA
