We are currently seeking a Director, Logistics Finance to be located in our corporate office in Stamford, CT.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Financial Planning




  • Lead MBS/GBS (Market and Global Business Strategy) for Logistics P&L:
  • Lead strategic analysis and financial modeling including macro analytics and competitive benchmarking

  • Drive calendar deliverables as key interface for Logistics to BB&A, including R&O submission


  • Lead Annual Plan/Budget and Dynamic Forecast process for Total P&L:

    Financial Stewardship and Co-Piloting:

    • Develop and support key analytics and monthly reporting for VP and Division CFO

    • Provide key business insights to the Supply Chain NMT on financial decisions and risk analysis

    • Support capital process for MBS, OPL and Forecast to ensure investment in line with commitments

    • Lead optimization of end to end financial processes for operating costs across National and Field Teams

    • Drive achievement of National and Field Operating Costs and gap closure processes.

    • Drive evolution of analytics and insights to support operating cost drivers for changing business model
    • Lead Monthly Forecast Processes for National and Field Operating Costs

    • Lead Monthly Business Review by providing operating analytics and business insight on results

    • Lead development of standard key performance indicator reporting to operating teams

    • Partner with National Finance Team to provide insight to key operating variances to Forecast/Plan.

    • Serve as member of the Logistics Operation leadership teams and provide financial insights on performance results

    • Support executive-level presentations for EVP & CFO


      Financial Process Oversight:

      • Ensure consistent application of financial reporting processes, audit and control procedures, payroll oversight and administrative functions

      • Ensure that all financial processes comply with Nestle Accounting Standards and Compliance guidelines

      • Support internal and Nestle Audit processes as required


        Data Management and Financial Reporting:

        • Oversee financial reporting to provide business decision support to the Operations Finance Organization and ensure alignment across all systems

        • Lead improvement of processes and enhancement of system capabilities

        • Support evolution and optimization of tool sets to enable financial insights to drive operating results


          Leadership and Development:

          • Lead National Operations co-pilot organizations and coach / develop thirty (30) finance professionals

          • Active support and peer leadership as a member of the Operations Finance Leadership tea
          • Support all annual review, development and succession planning processes to drive a peak performance culture
          • Drive process improvement and efficiency in Finance and Functional Operating Teams



            Key qualifications include:

            • 10 years plus with business experience in a finance-specific roles, with a minimum of 10 years of National and Field Operations experience required
            • Experience in consumer packaged goods preferred
            • Undergraduate or graduate degree required, with emphasis on finance/accounting; MBA or equivalent preferred
            • High level of proficiency in financial modelling required
            • Strong focus in process management, experience in process improvement projects preferred
            • Strong proficiency in forecasting and planning in a consumer and customer-oriented environment
            • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required. Proficiencies in Analytics platforms/data visualization software and Financial Reporting platforms (Essbase, SAP) are preferred
            • Strategic thought leadership - a big-picture view while executing functional requirements
            • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of multi-tasking and comfortable under pressure
            • Outstanding organizational and follow up skills
            • Demonstrated commitment to leadership development, coaching and feedback
            • Ability to foster passion and commitment in others, and to motivate teams to achieve performance metrics
